Underfloor heating

Introduction

Underfloor heating graphic

Typical applications are: slow reaction time; quiet operation; multiple zone distributors with thermal actuators for on/off control and as an option a 3-port  zone control valve with 3P/0-10 V actuator; PN 10 pressure class; small actuators with position indicator, robust design and easy to mount.

The proposed options vary in: normally open (NO) or normally close (NC) direction of action; type of control signal.

Standard NC combination

Standard NC combination

Normally close (NC) combination (actuator de-energized valve closed) 2-position or PDM (pulse-duration modulation) control signal.

Displayed option with: STA  on distributor with M30x1.5 connection and SM="11,5" mm.

Standard NO combination

Standard NO combination

Normally open (NO)  combination (actuator de-energized valve open). 2-position or PDM (pulse-duration modulation) control signal. Typically used in heat pump systems, where the valve remains open the most time.

Displayed option with: STP on distributor with M30x1.5 connection and SM="11,5" mm.

Comfort combination

Comfort combination

Direction of action can be selected by making appropriate electrical connection: normally close (NC) or normally open (NO) ; modulating (0-10 V) actuators for better control performance and energy efficiency.

Displayed option with: STS on distributor with M30x1.5 connection and SM="11,5" mm.
